In his spare time, he has served as a member of Rotary International. As a Rotarian, he volunteered in different primary healthcare capacities which ignited his passion for helping others and his interest in working in the medical profession. Relocating to Canada provided Mukaila with the opportunity for a career change to follow that passion and study to become a registered nurse.To reach that goal, he needed to first finish his high school credits, so he enrolled in theAdult Learning Programat the IT Campus. The flexibility of the program sold him on the experience. I have a family to take care of, and the program allowed me to work and learn at my pace.Mukaila says every member of his faculty team made a significant and positive impact on him during his time at NSCCthey helped him work through every challenge and kept him motivated and inspired to succeed.With his credentials in hand, Mukaila is looking forward to enrolling in the Practical Nursing diploma program at NSCC. He looks forward to the day when his educational journey will lead to a career as a nurse.Mukailas advice to the Class of 2022: We have all acted, and the school has equipped us well. Our skill sets have been sharpened, and our minds have been open to possibilities.
